Hello you. EXUDATE

I am the person that represents the online identity EXUDATE and the real name Blake. I found the name in 1999 while using the thesaurus for a word that represented what I wanted to convey with all of my websites, photography, videoblogs and social networking. Over the years EXUDATE has changed (quite dramatically) from one thing to another but it usually is a blog, quite simply, and I think it will stay that way for the foreseeable future. EXUDATE is where some of the things I see and do are recorded so you can see and participate with me…my blog and my public network stream rolled into one.

I have a variety of interests and I add new ones all the time. I have a photoblog that is connected to my Flickr, twitter photos in the Twitterpated category, as well as a separate, instagr.am style photoblog. I have enjoyed taking pictures from when I got my first camera with it’s parabolic dish bulb flash and the kind of film you had to load and wind into the camera inside of a black velvet bag to not expose the film. I have recently graduated to a DLSR of decent quality and have very much to learn to use it effectively.

I also sew a bit and run Beanskully, homemade helmet liners in a plethora of colours. I also maintain a beefcake blog called Male Collective that has a nice design aesthetic and tons of content for browsing. I design websites, I blog in a bunch of different places about a variety of things and I have recently discovered the joy of baking cupcakes…or as I like to say, ‘uncomplicated baking‘.
